Stephanie Kloos Donoghue began her career as a magazine editor, working closely with writers and graphic designers on several health care publications. One day, she had an idea: she’d start a company combining her expertise in design and journalism using state-of-the-art digital design tools. Not long after, S. Kloos Communications (SKC) was born. Her first clients were local small businesses and health care publishers.
With a personal interest in helping small businesses and a desire to expand, Stephanie earned a certificate in entrepreneurship and taught marketing at the The Entrepreneurial Center, Inc. Soon she was teaching marketing in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s SCORE program and was a guest lecturer at conferences around the country. Meanwhile, she used her training to help clients grow and prosper.
Before long, Stephanie began to build her team, adding expertise in design, data management and IT. She started teaching aspiring entrepreneurs at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and now provides guidance to students and clients on startup, marketing and growth strategies. In an effort to fill a client need, SKC services added back-end office management, bringing efficiency and structure to help clients scale with confidence.
Today, Stephanie and her team focus on SKC’s mission:
▶︎ We connect clients to their customers.
▶︎ We provide useful business-building resources.
▶︎ We help foster relationships that grow bottom lines.
That’s S. Kloos Communications.
